the many and complex issues surrounding the collection of person data and new laws aiming to protect individuals control of their own privacy, seem to have hatched about the same time as the governing body expressed their hope that it´s own 8 million would obey their order to "sign this form" effectively transfering total authority over privacy and data issues over to the borg.. what are your thoughts on this coincidence?.

zuckerberg lost billion$$ when people realized that he had prostituted their personal data and now wt wants the same signed access that he had to info that is $$$.... wt already owns all the real estate and now wants to own all the data.... it´s a current and global issue - please share your thought with the rest of us here.. .

under uk law they can (and will) delay their reply if you miss out any of the important points in the template letter - for example they are allowed to ask for "costs" from you (£10 is an established fee in the data industry), or if you fail to prove your identity by means of passport or driver's license.

Notice in the template that (1) it's clearly a non-religious request, and (2) the template denies them from contacting the local congregation or CO about your request. You're safe - local elders will not have a clue!

Because after 25-May-2018 their GDPR policy claims it will infringe their religion to delete your data. Get it now, and delete it, before they start whimpering about you infringing their religion.

Plus, as a bonus, wouldn't it be interesting if so many requested their data that they failed to reply to someone within the 40 day limit - and got reported to the ICO?

Actually, under existing UK law they're already on slippery legal ground holding info at local congregation level. In the UK any organisation holding data needs to be registered. Presently service reports are only kept in written form, with your name | address | DOB | email | phone | role [pioneer/servant/elder] | "mental state" (sorry, their definition is "O/S or Anointed?"). They already have the database for storing all of this online, which is clearly where this is heading...rapidly.

"encourage" (to force, bully, or beat into feeling of low self-worth)
"your rights" (_BLANK_) <<< accompanied by stifled evil snigger...

If you take a look at this study (https://news.stanford.edu/news/2012/october/kgb-domestic-surveillance-100212.html), you'll see that the former Soviet USSR described as follows:

When KGB agents wanted to "get to know you," finds Weiner, they wanted more than your address, your occupation, your hobbies or the names of your friends.

They wanted to know what and how people were thinking. And, in almost all cases, they wanted to fundamentally change that way of thinking.

The WTBT$ are ready to take this to the next level. Posts on this forum over the years reveal that ALREADY they've been compiling dossiers on members. Some have managed to obtain copies of data kept on them locally and at branch level. To agree to their GDPR policy is giving them legitimate authority to:

Record your entire internet browsing history by means of cookie tracking
Record your emails
Record your social networking
Record your phone calls
Build character profile
Build psychological profile
Access your entire medical record history
Access your child's school files
Monitor how and when you have sex
Record, profile and use data about your every breath...and share that with North Korea

If that seems overly dramatic, just check the form - please correct me if ANY of the outrageous statements above are exempt from their planned surveillance.

Hey "RULES & REGULATIONS" - love your pic; Snoopy and the whole Peanuts crew were childhood favourites. If Charles Shultz was still alive, he could draw a great cartoon about the characters in Peanuts and the dilemma of being pressured by "friends" and family to attend.

On the many occasions that I conducted the Memorial over the years, I was so 100% sycophantic towards the narcissistic men you refer to that I would personally hand-write letters to everyone I could think of to get them to attend: non-believing spouses, inactive ones, former Bible studies and so on. I feel soooooooooo bad now - my conscience is killing me - when I think of the many still in, that I personally "helped"! I can only hope that I may be able to get them some real help now.

Recognizing the power pyramid that you refer to, I guess one of the best ways we can dismantle it is one brick at a time...one human soul at a time. Sorry! That's getting rather heavy! Let's get back to Peanuts and Snoopy for a lighter perspective on life...
